We who become members of this Church, holding the doctrine set forth in the articles of faith, and agreeing with each other to such practice as is taught in the scriptures:

We do solemnly covenant together to meet as a Church of Jesus Christ and to treat each other as brothers and sisters in Christ according to the law of love so strongly emphasized by the Great Head of the Church, Jesus Christ:

We solemnly vow, as God will give us grace, to honor and glorify the name of Christ, to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and to put the Cause of Christ foremost.

We agree to conduct ourselves as humble saints of God, to pray for each other, to watch over one another, and if need be in the most tender and affectionate manner, to reprove one another according to the Lord’s words in Matthew 18:15-20, and not be whispering and back biting.

We agree to be gracious and kind to all sincere seekers of truth, to humbly and reverently speak to others as God may give opportunity of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, to seek to further the great Cause of Christ as we may have opportunity and as it can be done peacefully, godly, and according to scripture.

We agree, with God’s assistance, to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together but to attend Church meetings faithfully and regularly, to not absent ourselves from the communion of the Lord’s Supper without a lawful excuse;

We agree to conduct our conference sessions in the spirit of Christian love and with respect for one another, to proceed in an orderly manner, and to be mindful to adhere to our rules of decorum;

We agree to be ready to contribute to the defraying of the Church expenses  and for the support of the ministry, to work together to keep our meeting house clean and safe;

We agree to avoid and abstain from irregular absence from the fellowship of the Church, and not seek to join distant Churches without regular dismissal.

These things we do covenant and agree to observe and keep sacred in the name of, and by the assistance of, God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen
